How does Áureo work?
You quote with your piece's weight and karat, compare offers from verified shops, book with the one you choose, and sign in person at the shop, with full ID as the law requires.
How do I compare offers?
Each offer shows how much money you get today and how much it costs to recover your jewel. The “Most money today” and “Cheapest to recover” badges help you see the difference.
Can I compare without signing up?
You can see gold prices without an account. To quote and compare offers you need an account.
Where is Áureo available?
For now, in Medellín. We are adding verified shops in stages.

How does my shop join?
We review your request and verify your business before activating the account. Free affiliation, always. No signup fee, no monthly fee.
Who sets the loan percentage and rate?
Your shop does. Each shop sets its own loan percentage, rate, and profile.
Can I buy first place?
No. Organic ranking is by merit. You can only buy a labeled featured slot.
What is a featured slot?
COP $89,000/mo. Appears in a separate block, labeled as advertising. Does not change organic order.
Gold price and calculation
Is this what they'll lend me?
Not exactly. It's a reference for the metal's value. Loans are usually between 60% and 75% of that value.
Where does the gold price come from?
We use XAU/USD spot and the official TRM to convert to pesos per gram.
Does the price change during the day?
Yes. XAU spot moves with the market; TRM updates on business days. We show the current reference.
How does karat affect the value?
24k is fine gold. International 18k is 75% of that spot; 14k is 58.33%; 10k is 41.67%.
What is national gold?
National gold is quoted at 0.93 of the same karat international price.
Do I need an account for the calculator?
No. The calculator is public. To compare shop offers you need an account.
Privacy and security
What does the shop see while I compare?
While you compare, the shop sees Client AM-XXXXXX. Your name and mobile number only when you book with that shop.
When do they know who I am?
At contract signing, full identification is required by law.
What is discreet mode?
Offers from areas where you're not known.
What is quick exit?
One tap switches the screen if someone is watching.
How are shops verified?
The Unique Registry of Mineral Traders (RUCOM), run by Colombia's National Mining Agency, applies to anyone who trades minerals in Colombia, including gold. When a shop signs up with Áureo, we ask for its business documents and, if it has one, its RUCOM, and we review them before activating the account. Each shop is responsible for its own registrations and permits.
How do I exercise my rights over my data?

Payments and commission
Does Áureo lend me the money?
No. Áureo connects you with verified shops. The loan happens in person at the shop.
How much does Áureo cost me?
You pay Áureo no commission. The loan goes directly from shop to you. Áureo never touches that money.
Does Áureo touch loan money?
Never. The loan goes directly to the client. Commission is billed separately to the shop.
How much does Áureo charge shops?
You pay 1.39% on a new contract, only when the client signs and both of you confirm the amount. If the client renews the same jewel, you pay 0.70%. Free affiliation, always. No signup fee, no monthly fee.
When do I pay commission?
When the contract is signed and the client confirms the amount received.
